Multilingual, international and research-oriented, it is also a modern institution with a personal atmosphere.
The University of Luxembourg invites applications for the following vacancy in the Laboratory of Photovoltaics its Faculty of Science, Technology and Communication in the frame of a FNR (Fonds National de la Recherche) Core Project.
The Laboratory for Photovoltaics develops novel thin film solar cells, which are more cost efficient than conventional solar cells because they need less material and energy for their production. The successful candidates will work on the electrical characterisation of kesterite and chalcopyrite absorber films and solar cells.
2 Doctoral students (PhD students) in Physics M/F Start date : July 2012
•Ref. F1R-PHY-PFN-11KITS2
•Fixed-term contract 3 years, full-time (40 hrs/week)
•Student and employee status
