Institute, University of Southern Denmark in Odense, available from 1
March, 2013 or soon thereafter.
In the context of the EU project Xperience, we are searching for a candidate with a master in robotics and vision, good knowledge in C++ and dynamic simulation. The main task will be to identify and utilize patterns in a combined sensory-action spaces for action affordance recognition as well as the execution of close-contact control exception strategies.
The candidate should have experience in learning problems addressing high dimensional and structured feature spaces. In particular important for the position is the ability of the candidate to work efficiently in groups and larger software projects.

Appointment as a PhD Research Fellow
is for three years (5+3 program). Employment stops automatically at
the end of the period. The holder of the Fellowship is not allowed to
have other paid employment during the period.
The successful applicant will be employed in accordance with the agreement of 26 March 2012 on salaried PhD scholars between the Ministry of Finance and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations).
The successful candidate will be enrolled at this university in accordance with faculty regulations and the Danish Ministerial Order on the PhD Program at the Universities (PhD executive order).
