Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt is funding public service
fellowships to support graduate students who are applying for a master’s
degree program at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, the Harvard
Graduate School of Education, the Harvard School of Public Health, or
the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Students
must be citizens of Egypt who are residents of Egypt. Selection
criteria are academic and professional merit, demonstrated record of
performance and integrity, commitment to return to Egypt to contribute
to the country’s advancement, and financial need. Submit application by
March 1, 2013.

Scholarship Description: The
fellowships have been funded by the government of Egypt to build the
capacity of the country’s public sector, and applicants must have a
commitment to return to work in the public sector in Egypt once they
have completed their degree.

The awards will be made for a single year with the possibility of
renewal for a second year as long as the student is making satisfactory
progress in a multiple year degree program.
What does it cover?
The size of the fellowship award will be based on financial need, and
may include up to full tuition and fees plus a stipend to cover the
projected costs of attendance.
