Two senior research fellowships at the department of Genetics &
Plant Breeding are funded by DBT at CCS University, Meerut, India.
Applicants must be M.Sc. /M.Sc. (Ag.)/M.Phil. in the area of plant
sciences (preferably genetics and plant breeding/plant biotechnology).
For senior research fellowship two years experience is required in the
field of molecular marker technology for crop improvement is essential
and for JRF, applicants with fresh Master’s degree will also be
considered. Preference will be given to qualified NET candidates.

Eligibility:

of Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding at Ch. Charan Singh
University, Meerut, in India. It was formed in the beginning of the
department through the merger of several small laboratories of the

Number of awards offered: Two SRFs
are offered. Applications are invited for the posts of two SRFs, one
each for the following two DBT funded research projects. If suitable
candidates for the posts of SRF are not available, JRF may be appointed
for either one or both the projects.
Duration of award(s): For project (1) From April 01, 2013 to August 31, 2014 (2) for three years
