The OAK
project of Inria Saclay (https://team.inria.fr/oak/) and the database
group of UCSD (http://db.ucsd.edu) have recently started a collaboration
as an Inria Associate team (OAKSAD) on Expressive and Efficient Tools
for Web Data Processing.
OAKSAD research topics include:
1. Expressive languages and models for annotating with Semantic Web data repositories of unstructured (text) and (semi-)structured data.
2. Efficient techniques for large-scale data sharing, in particular in contexts with very many views.
3. Automatic run-time monitoring and design-time verification/analysis of business processes, in particular for cloud-scale data repositories.
OAKSAD is currently seeking a post-doc candidate with a strong background in data management and in particular relevant to the above topcics.
The post-doc will be hired by Inria and may be based:
* In Inria Saclay OR
* In UCSD
The PhD research of the student must not have been carried in a team affiliated with Inria Saclay or Inria Rocquencourt.
The position is to start before the end of November 2013 and is for 12-16 months.
Candidates should have obtained their PhD *** in 2012 or 2013, that is, between January 1st, 2012 and Dec 31st, 2013. ***
