In the
Physics and Materials Research Unit, there are experimental soft matter
and solid state physics groups, a theoretical solid state physics
group and our group for theory and simulation of soft matter.
The Theory of Soft Condensed Matter group develops computer simulation methods to study rare events and non-equilibrium processes. The PhD topic is located in the field of statistical mechanics of classical systems.
